Restlawn Cremation Burial Options
Cremation:
Often, when the choice is cremation, the perception is that the cremation process
is the final step in the process. This does not need to be the case; when cremation
is chosen, a final, permanent resting place allows for the life to be memorialized
for immediate family as well as future generations. This permanency is the pillar
of memories, communities and recognizing the significance for the individual's
life as it was lived.
BURIAL
OPTIONS
- Interior
glass or bronze front niches - Located within the Memorial Chapel,
these allow a prominent display of creative urns which can reflect individual
personalities. The niches accomodate personal mementos which can be memorabilia.
Restlawn offers a large variety of cremation urns, including artwork urns,
to fit within the niches.
- Exterior
granite front niches - Located on the exterior of the mausoleum
buildings, and as separate buildings within a specialized area of Secton
8, granite front niches offer a secure and dignified way to permanently
place an urn within a beautiful building. These niches can be personalized
with bronze photo emblems and/or floral remembrances.
- Granite
cremation benches or memorial rocks - these memorials can be added
to many different areas
of the cemetery (with management approval)
as a way to add burial options or to enhance areas where traditional burials
cannot be performed. Cored holes
are
integrated into the granite, allowing a concealed area for cremated remains
to be permanently placed.
- Inurnment
within traditional grave space - regular spaces throughout the
entire park can be used for burial of cremated remains. Standard memorials
can be installed just as they would be for traditional ground burial. Restlawn
allows two cremated remains to be inurned within one standard space.
One
with Nature Cremation Trail - This exclusive area of the cemetery
combines a concept which consumers have been inquiring about for years:
burial options with their pets. This natural trail winds through a densely
wooded area of the cemetery and incorporates stones and memorials which
blend in with the elements. Cremated remains of humans, along with full
or cremated remains of pets are allowed within the same lots of this area.
A separate area for humans only has been carved out of the area. This type
of arrangement is the first of its kind throughout the United States.

- A bay of
niches, which focus on highlighting cremation options for military veterans,
has recently been added.
