MOTHER'S DAY

May 13th

Restlawn Memorial Park understands how important Mothers are in our lives. They have cared for us, helped shape us to become the person we are today and have left a great deal of memories, whether they are still alive or whether they are no longer alive to celebrate this day.

We would like to encourage you to take a few moments in the cemetery to remember Mom.

In recognition of this special day, a limited amount of carnations will be handed out to visitors to either keep in memory or place on your mother's space in the cemetery.

The office will be open and Family Service Counselors will be available from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 13th to help you find burial locations, answer questions or offer artificial flowers for sale to place on your mother's grave. Please feel free to stop into the office for assistance or find a Family Service Counselor on the grounds, wearing a blue Restlawn shirt.

We hope the weather is beautiful this weekend so that you can take in the beauty of the cemetery and memories of your mom.

MEMORIAL DAY

May 28th

Always a special day at the cemetery, Memorial Day promises to bring the community together to remember those who have served in the military, those who have given their lives while serving in the military and all of our loved ones who have passed away.

Tradition prevails by Restlawn Memorial Park hosting a Memorial Day program at 11:00 am on Monday, May 28th at Veteran's Section of the cemetery. The program will include bagpipers and other music, special guest speakers and a firing squad to conduct the services.

Join us in paying tribute to the courageous men and women of Wisconsin that have lost their lives in our current conflict by visiting our 'Field of Honor', being developed for this special weekend.

Donations are being accepted for Randlin Homes of Wausau, serving homeless veterans and others in need. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for your comfort during the program.

Everyone at Restlawn Memorial Park works very hard to make sure the cemetery looks the best it can in the month of May, when the majority of visitors come to the Park.
